The last lot of colours over at Colour Throw Down are soooo out of my comfort zone that I had to try it.
The colours to use were
Sorry for the lighting but getting late in the day and I know if I don't do it now it won't happen.
Now for the particulars, I have used Stampin' Up! Morning cup stamp set along with some DSP also from Stampin' Up!

The Deconstructed Sketch
I found this great challenge site the other day while checking out some blogs its called The Deconstructed Sketch, so I thought I would play along, Here's what their sketch looked liked...
And this is what I came up with...
Only I forgot to add the scalloped boarder which would have gave it a prettier look, Oh well next time.
This is a CC Design stamp coloured with my copics, and the paper is My Minds Eye, Stella and Rose.
I hope you like her, I think she is a supa cute image.

Try Stampin' On Tuesdays #56
Ha you thought I was off to do the daily chores as I mentioned in last post, but I decided to have a quick blog surf and got a little carried away, so needless to say the chores can wait!!
When I first seen the sketch over at Try Stampin On Tuesdays I quickly shut the page with a "oh that's too hard", but I thought... no that's why its called a challenge so I went back copied it down and put the thinking cap on,
Here's the sketch...
See what I mean a bit tricky, But this is what I came up with...
The flowers were actually coloured by Hubby, sometimes when he is sitting in the office (he thinks, its really my craft room) doing the farm bookwork he will have a play with my copics, I really think its his artist side coming out when he has these urges as his Aunt, Uncle and his Sister are all very talented potters and painters. So give him some credit as well...
The stamps We have used are Elements of Style and Simply said.
Back soon

Try Stampin' On Tuesdays #53
Hi All, hope your Thursday is going great, Mine is I have just been out for coffee with my dear friend and stamping buddy Chris we did a bit shopping and home to craft, just the sort of day you gotta love.
I haven' pulled the copics out for while so I had this urge to do some colouring so I found this cute little digi stamp from Sarah Kay and decided to use the sketch from Try stamping Tuesdays, I kept the sketch pretty much to form and this is what I came up with...
I really love the country feel to this one, the paper is from My Minds eye along with some River Rock and Not Quite Navy.
Till next time

Freshly Made Sketches #21
Hi All,
It's been a bit of a busy week this week so been a little slack in the blogging.
But I have managed to whip up this little note book for a lovely friend of mine who is heading over seas for a months holiday, (Keep safe Anita and Enjoy!)
I used the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches as a guide...
She was happy with her little book and has already started using it with important things to remember while away.
I have used the Up Up and away set from PTI and some papers from Kaiser Craft.
Well off to do the dreaded chore of Housework.
Until next

Colour Throwdown #177
It's been a long time since I have played along with the girls over at Colour Throwdown, and since the colours this week were perfect for the Love Month theme I am on at the moment, I thought I'd give it a go.
Here's the colour pallet for the week...
It's soooo striking... Don't you think??
And still with my I Heart stamp set out this is what I came up with....
Bit camera shy was the black, but you get the idea, I really need to brush up on the photo skills, If any one's got any pointers or web sites to help I would really appreciate the link.
Anyway back to what I do better.... making them!

Try Stampin' On Tuesdays #51
I love the sketches at Try Stampin' On Tuesday they are always easy to play along with, the sort you can really jazz up or twist or keep them just as they are.
So here is this weeks sketch...
I kept it pretty much to plan only flipped the ribbon...
I thought this was a perfect card for that someone special on Valentine Day.
So now pop over to Try Stampin' On Tuesdays and check out the Fab stuff the design team came up with this week.
Happy Stamping
